News & Events COLORFUL PLANTS WELCOME YOU TO THORNE BAY

Jim Wilson of Prince of Wales Gas has donated flowers & trees to beautify our city. Baskets of flowers are hanging in the grapple of the Welcome Sign. Ten Sweet Gum and five Maple trees have been planted by the city gardener between the welcome sign and the turn off by the Port. As the trees mature they will produce colorful foliage along the roadway. Photo Credits, Carla Tchalemian and Jeannie McFarland.
